Today is our thirteenth wedding aniversary. It seems to have flown by, and we are as happy today as we were the day Jeanette arrived at St. Madoes Kirk with her father in their pony and trap. We are back! 10/19/2008
We are back safely from our west coast holiday. the weather was mixed, but to be expected at this late time of year, but we found the area and our cottage wonderful. The four bedroom house was modern and well equipped and to Jamie's pleasure, it had a Sky dish on the chimney. We had several day trips, but the best was the day Jeanette and I left the boys with their grand parents, and took the car over the ferry to Morven and we drove down to Glenborrodale, then overland to Glenfinnan then back via Fort William. It was a lovely trip. Oscar's First Hair Cut. 10/06/2008
![]() Oscar, our six months old Airedale puppy has been to the Dog Groomer today to get his first hair cut. I think it has been a great success. He now looks less 'Poodle' and much more terrier like!! He loves his new grown up look. Aghhhhhhh! 10/04/2008

A blue sky, warm sunshine, and the last day before the boys break up from school for the Autumn Break, so Jeanette and I have been busy in the garden doing all the seasonal 'tidy-up' jobs we can in peace. We dismantled the swinging hammock before the gales, emptied the coolhouse of all the tender plants, and lifted and packed away the terracotta pots safe from winter frosts. Our home looks a bit greener with so many plants dotted about, hopefully we will get our Orchids back into flower again this winter. |
