He's Eleven 01/30/2009

The 'Oldest' one has had his eleventh birthday. He had a Mexican themed party for the family which was fun. There was loads of food and they did the strangest thing with a cardboard donkey. They tied it up, battered it with a baseball bat, until it burst. All quite horrific and showed, in my oppinion, deep rooted animal cruelty issues, which upset me, until I realised it was stuffed with sweets. Mmmmmm.

Oh What A Night. 01/22/2009

I was sick. Yuck! I must have eaten something.......... : - )

Oh What A Fuss 01/22/2009

He did, he kind of asked for it. As I watched ‘Him’ making his own Dinner last evening, he stupidly left the room while there was a huge piece of cooked ham, just left there, on the work surface. Is he stupid or what? My! My! I though, so I jumped up and helped myself. What a fuss he made. Something about “I haven’t eaten anything all day” blah blah blah…..Not listening.

Woodland Cabin. 01/15/2009

The other day 'Him and Her' took me for a run in the car. We drove for miles up into the Highlands. We passed through the lovely village of Comrie and back out again to the countryside. We took a turn off the main road and up through some lovely woodlands. We stopped and met a man who handed 'Him' a bunch of keys and left. Seemingly we are now the proud owners of a woodland cabin! It is great there in these woods, as there are plenty of smells to sniff, walks to walk, and even a river to swim in. 'He' said he and I could go white-water rafting whatever that is?  We are going to use it for family holidays and weekends. I can't wait until we go for our first stay!

Happy New Year everybody!!  Yesterday we all got up and out into the garden, I had great fun running around in the frost, up and down the drive, down the field to swing on  ‘Pony’s’ tail, and a wander along the main road to sniff trees and look at the passing cars, before heading back to the garden to the comforting sounds of calls and whistles. The others dressed in warm hats and gloves, gathered themselves like a mini army. I, with ‘Him’ and the ‘Young Ones’ went out into the farm steading to look for something. They looked high and low until they eventually found this big, huge roll, of galvanised wire. They loaded it into a wheelbarrow and wheeled it round the outside of the garden and down to the gate. From here we all helped unroll the wire and sit it at the base of the hedge. What great fun it was, I wove in and out of the hedge trunks as they worked, play biting and barking as they laced the wire into the hedge using pieces of string cut from a large roll by ‘The Oldest One’. They were doing a great job. The wire was neatly concealed within the rusty winter foliage of the Beech hedge. ‘She’ managed to locate another roll of wire and bring it into the garden, and soon we had the whole job beaten. The fence was now secure and the garden was safe from intruders, not that we get any. I wonder why they went to all that bother on a holiday to secure the garden when we never get intruders? Hey…..wait a minute!!!!!!!
